i'd be pretty appalled if this weren't featured. nice freaking capture, yo. straight 5's from me - my only comment would be that i'll bet many people don't like the toning... though i do!

King - it's a Hungarian town, called Szeged. I doubt you ever heard about it since it has no international airport :) But it has a university that I was lucky enough to attend for some years plus it used to be the hometown of my fiance (my wife in exactly a month's time).

kyla - I totally agree with you: in fact I was expecting every comments to complain about relevance since it is indeed only part of a bridge... But I like that picture and wanted to share it anyways :)

the biggest share of the pp time was spent on finding this tone exactly - so I'm happy that at least one somebody likes it :)))

OK, I guess my prvious comment yells for explanation, so here it goes: I wanted this tone because I saw some really old photos of this town from like the 1910-s and they had this tone. that's what I wished to recreate.

Super shot. I love the tone. There seems to be some artifacting going on, at least on my screen. A product of sharpening? Nonetheless, a great take on the theme. Congrats Gabor!
