Boy, this makes me want to be standing right there...but I'd be peering over the edge. Nice touch to include the planks, which create a nice receding perspective that points to the mountains on the horizon. High marks.

@Montage : Well, yeah and I don't know (some people don't even take time to observe..) -what we aim here is just a feed-back or a simple feeling !! For the yellow cast, it's mainly post-processing coz I wanted to make it feel bit like western movie - but nobody likes westerns anymore (I should think) !!! There is a different version on my blog http://www.somedaysomewhere.net/Photoblog/index.php?showimage=40
@King : merci beaucoup ;-))
Thanks mates !!

I like this shot. As small as that building is on the hill (it looks to me like a church), for me it's the subject of this shot. That's where my eye goes. I like this shot overall, but have to say it doesn't seem to be as much about "bridge" as about a very pleasant contextual image of a church on a hillside.

George, you forward looking fellow. I didn't even see the building (it looks to me like a church) until you mentioned it. I think this is about the bridge to the extent that it is what is holding me up above the river...and a wooden bridge at that. I can hear the sound of the planks as I stride with confidence over them.

King, you make a good point. And a nice stroll across that bridge it would be.

Hey, you are such cool guys.., I love you ;-))
When I shoot this image it was more about the landscape and the light (great isn't it :) - then comes the feel of the bridge and the river -- and then ? Then, I had to run for the kids !!!
;-)))

There seems to be a yellow cast over this image. Is that the way it was processed, or the light?
