A great cityscape. Personally I'm not 100% sold on the sepia treatment, but that's just my taste for this subject matter. Nice juxtaposition between the old (bridge) and new (tower block) architecture.

I like how the bridge leads the eye through the shot.

Excellent composition, with very good technique.

This is a powerful, well-done image. I wonder why it hasn't yet been featured.

Still wondering.

Haha, I appreciate that, King. The ratings are not very high, however, so you may be wondering for a while. Thanks to you all for the kind words! This is downtown Minneapolis, Minnesota with the Mississippi River in the foreground and the aging Mill District and newer downtown area in the background.

@amnesiac...at least one of your other bridge images was featured.
I'm a person who tends to overmanipulate images if they don't sit up and speak without being told to. I think this image simply lacks drama in the tonal ranges, especially in the cityscape (downtown) area. There are a few buildings near the bridge that seem to fit the "aging Mil District" description and, as you say, the new buiding are in the background. If you could make a greater distinction between foreground, middle ground and background (a dramatic sky would help, too), it seems to me that this image would surely be featured.

I really like the color tone of this.
