Can a pier be a bridge? I love piers, especially when the extend into the ocean, but any kind of pier is okay. Where is this?

After having studied this for a bit, I've decided that this is a pedestrian bridge from the shore to something just off shore. I appear to see breakers. Fascinating photograph, beautiful sky.

It's a bridge over the Yarkon river in Tel-Aviv, Israel. My 50 mm lens on Bronica wasn't enough to fill the shores into the pic too.
Thank you.

Bronica! Takes me back to the old days. Do you have a digital back?

agme said 555 days ago:

Nope
Just a 120-film-back and a flatbed scanner at home
this was ilford pan f+ 50 film
lucky it was sharp on 1/8 shutter speed

Did you scan the negative? or a print? Is this a recent photo? Do you shoot any digital images?

Just curious. I'm an old film guy who doesn't yet own a digital camera, although I borrow my wife's from time to time.

I scanned the negative.
The pic was taken week or two weeks ago
yeah, I shoot digital, but not much now, since I started taking medium-format

if you have any questons - you can write me to dmitry@dmitryantipov.com

I just know the WS raters will probably like this. I'm going to have to go the other way though. It's so dark on the bottom that you can barely see a bridge. All that bright sky above adds nothing to the composition, and I find myself staring at the smoke stack looking thing in the background.

I'm sure this will feature though, 'cause I prove time and again that I just don't get this place.

I like this image. Is it "LOMO"? I am not quite sure what I feel about the huge representation for the sky in comparison to the bridge. I like it, but it (to me anyway) detracts from the relevance and impact.
