this fit the "sad" category better . . . or "wrinkled" . . . sure it's elephantine, but not "big" i'm afraid

Rosedaddy- This shot was taken in the Serengeti and this particular elephant was with a huge heard. The view is beyond spectacular- think of it as penthouse living for elephants- it is anything but sad.
The description for big is as follows:
Think Ginormous.Immense, massive, vast, tremendous, gigantic, mighty, gargantuan, elephantine, titanic...
and last time I checked an elephant fits the category of elphantine...

Ah, the mighty pachyderm. Roll Tide! As an Alabama football fan, I certainly identify with this wonderful animal. (For those of you outside the USA, I'm referencing the University of Alabama, an American college football team which features an elephant for it's mascot.)
This critter has a lot of character in the texture of his skin. Since you filled the frame with him, I wish you would have kept more of him in focus so we could explore all those nooks and crannies.

For me, there is something both strangely compelling and unsettling about this elephant portrait. The thumbnail is dynamic and capures the attention, but the full-size image doesn't seem to deliver on the promise--because it lacks a well-defined point of focus? The trunks seems unusually wide at the bottom right side of the frame. The image would be enhance, I think, if the animal had tusks. Still I like the image.

Love the texture of the elephant's skin!
