This is a gorgeous photo. It's not really saying big to me, but I really like it. Maybe the big part is you not being able to include more water behind the ship. That would have improved the composition IMHO. I still really like this though.

This was taken from a place called LaDera, which is nestled in between the two volcanic plugs called the Pitons in the island of St. Lucia. It is a magical spot, about 1,000, and yet with the two volcanic mounts towering above it. I will post a couple of links to some other shots here of the area later today. The ship was just a cruise ship that came into the cove to show the spot at sunset.

Oh, I see. You weren't a passenger on that ship. I thought you were on a shore excursion and stopped to shoot your ship while the sun was setting over it.

And here is a shot of the two volcanic plugs themselves. LaDera is in between them, about a 1,000 feet above the sea. A magical place.
