I’m sure the church/cathedral/whatever was very big, but for me that’s not conveyed in the image. There is some nice detailing in the columns, although on the whole the shot is a little dark.

I like everything about this. Symetry, the shadow of the cross, the converging lines as the backdrop.

To me the literal sense of BIG comes through fairly well though I think it could be stronger; but as I said in my first comment, symbolically for me the relevance is *very* strong.
