...Blackbird? You like air shows, Ana?
kadenajack said 538 days ago:
I'm sure this is a big plane, but I actually think this extreme angle hurts the composition if that's what you're trying to represent.
kadenajack said 538 days ago:
That's not a SR-71 Blackbird King. Looks like one of the current Air Force cargo planes. Maybe a C-17?
ChriZ said 538 days ago:
that thing sure is big!!!
Ana said 538 days ago:
I thought the perspective made it look bigger, and the fact is, I couldn't really change it. just stood under the plane! and yeah, love air shows.
King said 538 days ago:
@kadenajack...I see I had the plane turned around in my mind (now that I pay the slightest bit of attention to the engines).

This works due to the people. Tis big!

A striking image. If only it had been a little less sunny – the shadow is a little overpowering. Great perspective though. Nice one.
Ana said 538 days ago:
I really liked the shadow, thought it showed the immense size of the plane!

Wow! A flying fortress...this is awesome! 5's

Congrats on the feature Ana. I see not everyone saw it the way I did.
ChriZ said 538 days ago:
Wehey, Congrats!!!
Ana said 538 days ago:
thank you.

Hoo-rah! Although you had to fight your corner, it was worth it.
I think we are all expressing our relief at the passing of the last theme.
Hoo-rah again!

Congratulations, wingnut!
("wingnut" is a figure of speech for someone who is an enthusiast about aircraft and aviation)

Nice one Ana. Congrats. I agree with your take on the shadow.

Thanks. A good friend of mine found some information on this plane. Kinda neat!
Boeing KC-135R Stratotanker (717-148).
