Well, Andrew, if the ratings I gave this feature were your final, average ratings, this image would be featured.

I thought, earlier, that the fuzzy area on the right was another peson in the foreground being shouted at, but now I see that it is actually behind the shouter--optical illusion.

Why post this so late? I gave you 4 on relevance and I think the shot is well done.

I really don't think it's such a mental leap, this one.
Perhaps I should have gone closer in toward the mouth and really made it "big". I was counting on everyone coming to the conclusion that it must be referring to BIG mouth, as in a person who shoots his mouth off alot (not unlike my dainty self...).

Post Scriptum....I dislike it intensely when people comment "I don't get it". Drives me bloody mad. Sit and think about it a little, why don't you....

The point is I dont get it. It makes no sense to me as far as the theme.....BIG.....whats big about it? His mouth? No...its just up close...the scream? I mean if I am meant to use my imagination then ok...but I personally like things obvious. And this honestly did nothing for me.

I think that Andrew's irritation (if I may speculate), is that you didn't bother to leave any explanation, a broader comment, or some suggestion for improvement.

The way it works on WeeklyShot (as you may know) is that if an image is not already featured (on the home page) one cannot see who posted the image or read any of the posted comments until one first both rates the image and leaves a comment.

I think that "I don't get it" can be perceived as the lazy man's way to read the comments posted by others.

It is generally appreciated that thoughtful comments take both work and time. I would suggest to you that if you don't get it, then guess what the photographer had in mind--that may be useful information. If you can't guess, then ask.

Welcome to WeeklyShot...when are you going to start posting images? (excuse me if you posted in this theme and I don't remember seeing your photos).

@ martylavender - If that's your real name. I love it. You'll find the F5 key an irritation in WS. Don't mind me I'm a bit of a hot-head. You have every right to voice your opinion, but I don't get it doesn't was with me. We *all* do the quick comment thing, so don't sweat it. Thanks for coming back an commenting.

As for the unfortunate Flatline/Blizzard thing--I'm just glad not to be in the middle of it. It's refreshing to be left out.
