The Leaning Tower of...? Very nice actually (other than the marked tilt). Did you try to bring out the remarkable pattern in the paved courtyard? I would help lead the eye to the building. Loveley view. High marks.

Very nice colors!
Seems slanted, although the horizon seems just a little bit off, but that building either got distorted by the lens or it's just not straight!
anyways, really nice!

thank you for the comments. i see your point about the tilt. all my shots of it have this problem in it. if the tower looks straight, then the rest of the building looks like it is about to fall over. this is a mosque in casablanca, Haasan 2. the minaret is 210m or 698 ft. i went on line and looked around at other photos taken of the mosque. it seems that this is a common problem. what would any of you suggest? what lense can capture architecture without distortion?

in photoshop:
filter -> distort -> lens correction
some neat tools in there!

stigwick,
ChriZ offers a solution to the distortion. To answer you question about what camera can capture architecture without distortion:
1. Any view camera
2. A perspective control lens on your camera--here's a review of one:

@king, thanks for the info. very helpful. cheers

what also helps is to align the bottom of the building (or horizon) to the center of the viewfinder!
You might have to stand far far away in order to capture t he whole structure, but that way you won't get a wabbly distortion!
You can then also crop away a part of the bottom, but as King already mentioned this would also bring out the pavement!
