Bigger than a real cat for sure, though mine is getting pretty fat. Is this in someone's yard or were you at a snow sculpting event?

It was the Illinois Snow Sculpting contest! Great fun!! I have a working shot of this cat, too. very cool!

It's a little dark and a lower angle might've emphasized the size of the cat more, but still very appropriate for the theme.

Hmmm, perhaps you're right. Judging by the response to my suggestion for unedited photos, the photoshop style shots are in vogue.
However, I think you could have made it less "snapshot-ish" (have I created a word?) just by trying a different angle. I think Lamdennison is on to something with the lower angle.
IMHO, the angle you shot looks like you're the proud mama showing your kids off at the snow sculpting contest. The kids really help to show scale, but shot straight on like this, they also contribute to the "snapshot-ishness". (Oooooh, another new word.)
I hope you get my meaning and see how the shot could have been stronger, both in support of the theme and photographically overall.
All that being said, I really would like to shoot an event like this sometime. I've never been to a snow sculpting contest.

Though not "Ginormous" this picture is still relevant. I think it would be well served with a tighter crop or perhaps a slight change of angle to give it more impact than what we have here, which looks kind of snapshot-ish.
