Cartoon almost.

Wroks on two levels.

1. Um, it's BIG

2. It is known to be a small object and the perspective messes with the perception, thus, furthering the impact of the theme.

Ah, it's bearing down on me....no!

invasion of the giant yellow duck!
Love the shadows, the colors and the negative space!

@ChriZ
Seemed more fun than one of the children their dinosaurs..;)

bioLarzen said 435 days ago:

I guess I have seeen this duck here already some themes ago, right?

To me this is not really about anything being big. I get the concept, and it's a good one, but the pic fails to work properly...

Also a tighter crop at the top might have worked better.

Still not bad marks, for it's an enjoyable one.

A giant sex toy?

Jondor said 435 days ago:

@philippe
I'm not sure I want to know how you imaging the use of a rubber ducky as a sex toy.. Please leave me my innocence..;)

kadenajack said 435 days ago:

I love this duck. He totally doesn't go in this theme, but I still like this picture.

mooch said 435 days ago:

philippe... have you said too much?

I envisage your sex shop visit:

1 x Porn DVD - Check!

1 x Pot of KY Jelly - Check!

1 x Giant duck sex toy - Check!

;)

Ana said 435 days ago:

been missing this duck.

Jondor said 435 days ago:

@Ana
Tja.. "pain in the butt" and "bridge" didn't really call out "ducky".. (although Philippe seems to suggest otherwise on the butt subject..;)

George said 435 days ago:

Even though there's no sense of scale (i.e. ducky in relation to something else) the lighting and angle really gives the feeling that it's HUGE. Well done!!

(BTW, I'm curious to see if this is a kadenjack special...)

George said 435 days ago:

Well, I'm wrong about the attribution. Great one Jondor!

Jondor said 434 days ago:

@George
Thanks..
Kadenajack seems to think that this image "totally" doesn't go in this theme. Together with my relevance score that seems to indicate that most people go for the most literal interpretation of big.. As usual I might add.. a pity.

This made me smile.

philippe said 434 days ago:

I thought it was an innocent joke. I'm sorry if I hurt any duck's feelings...

@Jondor: sorry about your innocence. You'll have to live with this, now.

@mooch: thanks for the advice, obviously it comes from an expert. :O)

Now, if you don't mind, I'm going to look for an interesting discussion.

mooch said 434 days ago:

phillippe: Oh definitely...

kadenajack said 434 days ago:

Thanks for bringing me into the discussion George. Not my shot, but I like the duck. I like the shot. I believe I scored it high on everything but relevance. I think Jondor kicks ass. Just didn't say big to me. Don't let me bring it down though. It's a great photo.

Giant duckie! Arrgggh! :)

5s from me.

ChriZ said 433 days ago:

Great! I'm glad this got featured!
Congrats!

George said 433 days ago:

Congrats Jondor!

Jondor said 433 days ago:

@ChriZ, George
Thanks.. Actually it was quite a supprise. I though I would need an other positive review to get above the 3.7 average.

Hummingbird said 432 days ago:

This definitely jumps out. It reminds me of Macy's Thanksgiving Parade balloon or attack of the giant duck.
