This photo has a very calming feel to it. And yet the birds add a touch of action. The detail and processing are nice too. Well done.

Great capture!! Do you have any more image lower right, if so, I would pull the boat just a little more into frame.

I like the setting and the feeling I get from looking at this. The tonal range seems a bit compressed, and the boat feels too close to the edge of the frame. Nice moment.

the boat was a bonus to the birds, so yeah, it's not exactly a great framing job. I was walking on the beach and prompting the flight of the birds. It was 5:30 in the morning, and the fisherman was just heading out as I got the birds to fly.
as for the tonal range.... this is all you get when you shoot in the fog. :)

Reading the comments, I must add that I really like where the boat is. It adds to the expansive feel of this photo.

Really like this. Great mood and I like how the birds are in the central part of the frame. Adds tension. If only that 12th bird from the right were smiling......

this is one of my favorite photos. It was taken a couple years ago (almost to the day) with my little Kodak.
