The idea was to create a very dark dreary mood of what a hard druggie sees almost everyday. I felt with the light coming through the blind as the only source of light and shooting at the angle I did helped to sort of add to this horrible mood setting and make it look more authentic as to how they must often see things.

The half item you see in the front was where some sort of sticker once was and had been peeled off, leaving some of it partially stuck to the table.
