This is one of those shots where I'm unsure of relevance for this them...not sure if there's supposed to be an obviously visible car. However, I really like the mood of the shot. Looks like a tornado is brewing ahead!

An excellent shot, four 5s except for relevance; though I can tell it's a windshield, it'd be better if we saw an opaque part of the car (as opposed to just glass).

I like the relevance, the clean space on the windshield from the wipers does that for me, reveals it's carness.

Very dark and moody - I still think it works very well - much more original than the standard photo of a car witting at the curb for dang sure.

Beautiful shot, but it would be more relevant if the theme was something like "The Road".

I defintely recognise this image. It's nice to see a shot from within for this contest rather than looking in if you get what I mean. More creative.

Thank you very much for the comments. I agree that this photo would be more relevant for a theme related with roads, but I wanted to post something both different from a "regular" car photo and recognizable as a car photo.

I loved this when I rated it although I did feel it's relevance was slightly weaker than it should have been.

Doesn't detract from the fact that it is a stunning shot!

not relevant enough!? this photo must have been taken from the inside of an "automobile" so what are you talking about?

As I see it, since the theme defines a low score as one where you can't tell it's an automobile, this scores high.

"Tell it's an automobile" to me partly means if I described the shot to a friend, I'd have to use the word "automobile" or "car."

In this case: "...you feel like you're in the passenger seat of a car looking out the window on a broody rainy day...and you can actually HEAR the swish of the windshield wipers..."

Ok, so I'm prone to exaggeration, but you get the idea.

this shot's sooo right up my alley, car-wise that is. i don't own a car, i'm not too interested in cars, but i enjoy riding'em. especially if i get to see sights and lights like this! very well captured! there's lots of motion in this picture, thanks to the water on the windshield...
