The grain in this doesn't bother me terribly, but when coupled with the fence it's a real distraction.

I really like the idea of this shot, and it's definitely relevant, however there's something amiss with the post-processing...like it was HDR'd. There's a bit too much noise, as well. I'd be curious to see what the original shot looked like.

I realized when posting this that it would rate poorly for quality. The problem is not "grain" or "noise" in this image so much as the atmospheric conditions when taken and the fact that I could not avoid the fence. This was taken during a heavy snowstorm (that is the "grain" you see) with a 70-210 mm lens of poor quality fully zoomed. The only significant post processing done in this image was a fairly aggressive saturation boost to make the colors pop.
