Thank you LynnR! This photo was an wonderful accident if the truth be told! I had gone to shoot some old Silos after a rain. The parking lot fills with shallow water. On my way out (driving through the puddle) I decided to stop and get out to see what it looked like. Bingo! If you look closely you can see my friend (in baby blue) hunched over to avoid being in the shot.

Very nice. Would it have been possible to bring the car a little further into the puddle, toward you? It might have enabled it to be visually surrounded by more water - and you would have isolated the car from the background even further, while picking up more reflection. It would have also been nice if you could have lowered that rear window, but that's minor. Technically it's spot on, though a light source illuminating the car would have made it perfect.

I really like this, I wish the lighting on the car was more dynamic, picked out from the ambient lighting, but that would have required a lot of equipment and assistants :)

Thanks for your comments Flatline, Ana and Miles...yeah...it was the spur of the moment shot. Existing light and lack of PS2 knowledge -this is the best I could do. Thanks Miles for showing me what it can be!

Lovely tones of orange in this. My thoughts were to remove the plate and lasso the car and water, and fuss in levels to make the foreground a bit brighter. Overall, a pleasant soothing shot.
