is that a train?

CaptureThis said 786 days ago:

I cannot tell what this is, it actually looks more like a speeding train to me, but it definitely doesnt't look like an automobile. Sorry.

This is a speeding truck on Interstate 40. If you've ever traveled this road you know that trucks make their own rules regarding speed, hence the overexagerated motion. I wanted to push things beyond the ordinary and not go the junk yard or catalog photo route with this theme, but if you can't tell what it is then I'll except that.

I LOVE the composition of this shot. WOW.

It is a great shot, it's just too hard to determine what it was. I think the dirt embankment plus the black band, which looks like windows, makes it appear to be a train.

I geuss all the comments are going to say what i'm going to say, which is, isn't that a train? and is a train an automobile?

Okay - I revoke what I said - now I know what it is - I really like this shot - this is a problem that I brought up before with not having an explaination from the author of an image - now I know it's a truck I can see it, and I would have liked to have known that before .... Sorry theatresky - I guess I really should have taken a lot longer to look at the image before opening my big mouth!

dicksdaily: No need to apologize. If you like the shot that's all that matters to me. Maybe the rule of not having an explaination before hand leads to more straigtfoward images and less risk taking but I like the idea of seeing just the image with no words, no title, and no name.
