This is beautiful! Even with all that empty space, the automobile is still definitely the subject.

Reminds me of the movie "Fargo" for some reason.

I like the simplicity of this shot.. I must have a weird eye, because the horizon looks a touch uneven.. Whether that was on purpose or not, I don't know.. Doesn't matter a whole heap to me though..

I love the negative space. I think this could've had a bit more impact if the car was just a bit closer.

This was shot on Makgadigadi Pan in Botswana about 25km from the "shore". Normally the Belgium-sized pan is about 0.5m deep in chemical salt-rich water.

When this pic was taken, there had been little rain for months and not only the water, but the usually resident millions of flamingoes and pelicans had gone elsewhere.

The horizon looks slightly odd because of the dust in the air from my own and this car.
