Unique take on the theme and very effective. Well done.

Yup, this totally strikes a chord. Particularly because I find Zoos to be one of the lonliest and yet most intriguing places. And the humanity of animals, particularly primates is such a mystery. Just what is he thinking? Is her thinking? I always want to know if my dog feels alone. And maybe its because I'm an animal lover, but this is a really interesting sentiment. What does it feel like to be caged? My brother is serving time in an institution right now and I can't help thinking of him and the lonliness he tells me he feels.

Spot on with the theme but I really really wish that the line of the cage didn't cut the monkey's face where it does. A full frontal portrait with no elements of the cage would have been much more striking especially with the monkey's expression.

Thanks, this is what i was going for with this image. I have another of just a paw on the cage itself that i am going to post as well, it is very moving with just a hand and a cage....

I'm sure this caged animal image will get a response from many of the "animal rights" types but for me personally it doesn't really "ring". Just a personal response I guess.

Oh God, I wondered how long it would be before my face appeared on WS! Fabulous shot, and whatever tiny defects there are must be forgiven due to the entertainment we have been given. Well done.

We both know he had some friends in the cage ;-)
