This actually gives me a feeling that the blue light (is that what that is?) is the leader, and the stick-type things are listening. It doesn't give me a very "alone" feeling.

I really like the image. I am not sure about relevance though. I read the theme and I know this doesnlt have to be "people" that are the "alone" thing. To me, this trash can doesn;t look abandoned, or left behind though.

In any case, the simplicity of this shot, and the arrangement of the three clusters of objects is very nice. Maybe cropping a little of the snow off the bottom would balance it even better.

This shot has been growing on me since I first spotted it. It has a Zen-like quality to it, but it's also quirky and odd.

I don't think it's a great photo because snow is very hard to capture and this image seems to be lacking in some technical way that I can't put my finger on.

However, the photographer who took this photo seems to have a good eye for design.
