This girl is dwarfed by the trees (composition adding to the effect). The trees look like evil beings about to swallow her in their clutches.

I think it is relevant. But the location of that one horizontal branch is unfortunate, as it makes the little girl appear like a super-small-midget-bird-person perched up in that tree. I know that isn;t the case, but I keep seeing it that way....which is a little distracting.

This shot benefits from enlargement. This photograph has a sinister quality to it. The trees do not appear to be friendly. The child, alone in the park, seem vulnerable and spied upon. Good work in this Theme.

I think the image could benefit from some edge darkening to hold the eye in the center. In fact, it appears that a circular area around the child was darkened. Just my humble observations.
