Z for Zorro?

...or would you prefer more helpful and supportive comments, such as those you just left for others:
"I find this a little boring, maybe because of the colours, they don't really draw in."
"Nice but not sure if really fits the theme."
"Leaves me indifferent."
"Too crowded."
Commenting is good, but have a heart and try more often either to be a little positive or explain how something could be improved.
In that spirit, it is difficult to place this image in time or space. Is the bench at the seashore so folks can sit alone with their thoughts while looking out to sea? I think I see the smallest glimpse of light glinting on the horizon, so I think it is the sea. If I could be sure that the bench faced the sea, I would find this image to set a fine and fitting mood.
Could you have included a bit more ocean (or whatever it is) in the frame? As you commented on another's photo, the bench is too far away. The lines dominate the scene.
It does, however, have a strange, abstract quality to the design of the image that I find appealing.

Jan...I'm sorry. That wasn't fair. I'm sure that English is not your first language. You do take the time to leave comments and your praise, when offered, is enthusiastic and unforced. That is to be applauded.
Again, my sincere apology.

I feel alone just looking at it. Wonderful.

Only comment would be to perhaps crop some of the sky out... seems like a bit of wasted space. The feeling of barren abandonment is very well conveyed in the tones though.

Relevant to the theme but oh I wish someone or something was sitting in that bench for more impact.

King, thanks for your comments, they made me reflect on how my often direct, sparse and perhaps unduly fast comments may be perceived. And I certainly appreciate your looking through all my comments and not just the negative ones; it's no doubt easier - at least for me - to praise than to criticise, for criticism, especially constructive one as one is asked to deliver here, takes time and reflection, something the internet as a medium does not encourage. So, I shall take your comments to heart and write a little more, it will not doubt be difficult as many of my first reactions are "gut feel" and do require longer thought to express in a way that's helpful to the receiver.
By the way, oddly enough I found your first "Zorro" comment quite funny!
Thanks to all who commented, this is quite an old photo taken in the days of film at Hampstead Heath, London, on one of the few days when it snows in London.

love the abstract quality of this image. just fantastic. maybe just a little too much negative space on top, just a great image nnonetheless.
