Thanks for the comments. I spotted this baby gator in a state park last week. This is an extreme crop of the shot because you couldn't even make out what he was with what I captured. By the way, as far as I know he was ALONE, though his mommy could have been nearby, and I may have been in mortal danger.

groen65 - That's all I ever saw of this gator. In fact if I hadn't seen him go under, I might not have even realized he was a gator at all.
