Ana: It is two people yes - but I don't see how they can't be alone together, and they pretty much were on that beach because it was a cold day.

Browe: The edges are the 'lomo effect', which I added to the original image.

I like the processing that's been done to this. gives it quite a dreamy feel. I think maybe the subjects are a bit too far away, or not far away enough, so they're kind of in no man's land which takes away from the impact of the scene a bit.

I consider this to be an "art photograph." I'm commenting here because I like the russet tones in the sand, the bleeding of the blacks in the posts into the russet, the composition and other things. I don't get a great sense of relevance but I don't care. I just like this image.
