This is a nice take. The background is a little busy, and I think that takes some focus away from the cone, but I like your concept.

With the exception of the lonely cone this would be a great contribution to the Lines theme. I think it would be a much stronger image without the cone.

I love the set up and the lines from the downlights, but I think a person would have been a better subject.

I really like this. I like the take on the theme, and I love the colours and the framing of the dark band above the lights at the top. I also like the use of lines, the horizontal on the door and vertical of the lights. High marks all around.

:D even though my score is not all that and a bag of chips...i love this shot for this theme.

i appreciate all the positive response. i really felt like i would get raked with quite a few comments on relevance. (which in fact is so reflected in the ratings)
i took it last Saturday for the lines theme - but did not post it.

lonely little cone!

interesting. would have been great for "lines", a cone standing alone doesn't really offer an expression to the picture to stand in this category. great lighting and reflections, though.
