Looks as if you flipped the image horizontally. The wedding ring gives it away. =)

All fives. Amazing photo. Perfectly depicts the theme for me. The fact that she's naked adds a sense of sensitivity and vulnerability to it, which is what one feels when their alone.

Hmmm, this one is interesting. She's alone. There's a lot more going on in her posture though. Why is she alone? Why is she naked? She seems cold, afraid, ashamed, all of the above. How does that play into her aloneness? I don't suppose any of those questions have to be answered for our purposes here, but I'm certainly curious now. It's a very compelling shot.

Reality - I call this The Cleansing :)
kadenajack - all those questions are the ones I want posed, but it's up to you to answer them of course.
zorilla - the ring is the doorway in to the picture. It's the only man made element in the shot. It's supposed to tell you she's married, and suggest that the reason she's there has something to do with her marriage.

Magician378 - this is my wife, and we both wear our wedding rings on our right hand :)
King - thanks. Being alone is very much a kind of intimacy isn't it.

That she seems cold is very interesting considering the temperature was in the mid 20s (Celcius) and the water temperature was just as high. Her body posture suggests 'cold' perhaps because she is hugging herself?

hugging herself adds to the 'cold' feeling for sure, maybe i was watching this pic from a distance (or maybe the opposite: at too short range) but she seemed to me creeply-crawly.
anyway, the best thing in this image for me is that the water is not calm around her, it suggests turmoil in the deep.

Don't ask me bslomovic. I thought it was good enough to be featured, but obviously the powers that be disagree. Maybe the ratings are simply not high enough. Thanks for your comments anyway. I'm glad you like it.

this is an artistic shot. not everybody undestands the message. (I do :-) )
