Quite an effective composition. They do seem to be alone. The couple of white dots (top center and right column) distract me. There's no way to control it other than asking them to pose, but had they been gazing right into each other's eyes, so to speak, it might have had more of that "alone" feeling. It seems a bit oversharpened in the rails though not the brances. Just some thoughts :-)

Thanks George. I see the dots now too, something I missed whilst posting the shot. I think I used the wrong version of this image, ah well.
This is a couple unknown to me that I just happened to see as I was walking home from Xmas shopping with my daughter, si I just ran up blasted off a couple of shots and ran off again. As you say, no way of controlling that situation! The couple don't need to be in love in this picture, it could be a meeting with any number of intentions in mind...

Nice moment captured, but the high contrast doesn't add a lot to the photo, IMHO.
