This just doesn't really speak to me of being alone. Perhaps if it had been a wider shot, showing the person was alone on the train?

i feel it! and it is a different view of alone.

I find the dark hues and dirty windscreen add to the 'alone' feeling in this shot.

This image has the unusual quality of looking better as a thumbnail that it does full-size. I like the thumbnail very much. If the full-size image had some of the qualities of apparent sharpness, contrast and color saturation of the thumbnail, my hunch is that this photo would be rated very highly.
