Don't know how many people will know what this is, but SUPER relevance!! I do think there are other camera angles/compositions of this subject that may be more recognizable and perhaps, therefore more impactful. But, I love it!!
I lived and worked in NY for 14 years and, believe it or not, have not been back there since...I cannot imagine the city with this absence...

yes...this is fitting. wish I could see a bit more to the sides, instead of up. nicely done.

Wow. Relevant for sure. Love the tones.

Looks like an old picture what reinforces the impression of absence. Great picture!

This is an exceptionally beautiful image. I like the tonal qualities and the contrast greatly. Unfortunately, I did not give it as high a "relevance" grade simply because I could not figure out what was deemed absent. Is it the area where the construction is going on? Could this be an image that I do not recognize of the destroyed WTC? I do not know unfortunately. But, a beautifully constructed image with beautiful processing.

A pretty emotive shot. Good detail, and quality is high. I thought you couldnt photo this though?

Thanks for the comments. It is a pretty moving place.
@ Lange - it is indeed the site of the WTC, ground zero, though not an obvious shot of it.
@ Stolenlife - you can get some shots through gaps in the surrounding fencing, but that is all. Hence the sort of cramped composition.
