This image was not adjusted but rather the sunlight was only on this firefighter's face as he listened to instructions from his captin. The others were wearing sunglasses.

Thanks for the comments. I find it so interesting that everyone who views this piece feels that the focal point subject is female. Perhaps it is his expression at the time of the capture, but in real life he looks very much like a man. It goes to show that expressions can change how we appear. Far and away, the interactions of this firefighter with the other members of his station indicated he has the respect of the others.
