Ahhh, the juxtaposition of the old truck with the hint of new life! Just jokes ;) Certainly looks like a well worn old thing, but with the composition this becomes more about the nest than the truck for me. That might very well be the point, since the nest looks like it could have been abandoned a while ago, but I think most people will assume the truck is the "old" focus.

Old enough and long enough out of operation for the birds to take advantage. I'm not particularly crazy about the photograph, as it simply leaves me unmoved, but it is a good entry in the theme. I just pulled a tree stump. Maybe I'm just tired.

Interesting Birdhouse! Poor old neglected truck! If it was possible I would have liked to be able to see the entire opening rather than being cut off on the left.

Great colors and textures. I think the image would have been even stronger if the crop would have been a little less tight. But very nice.
