WeeklyShot has closed its doors and is no longer announcing new themes. We had our Farewell theme Jan 10-17, 2008. Thank you for taking part in everything and making the WS community thrive for as long as it did.
I am sad to say good-bye, but it's time for me to explore some other projects. If you'd like me to keep you up to date on my future web-based photography efforts, just let me know. I'm always excited about working on new ideas and sharing them with you.
Thanks again,
WeeklyShot is a different kind of group photoblog and photo challenge. Every week we announce a new theme, then photographers interpret this theme and upload their own photos in response. During the week users critique the images and decide which ones get featured on our homepage photoblog for all to see.
WeeklyShot is a small community that is invite only. We have, however, started a new sister-site based on WeeklyShot that is open to everyone. This new project is called Vazaar. Right now we're in the early stages of building it, but you're welcome to join up and help us test things out.
