Nice twist

you know i love your work, and this image is somewhat representative to the stuff i associate with you. superb;)

I really want to like this one... It's perfectly executed, and it even made me laugh. I also rated it high on all the criteria... For some reason, though, it seems like the juxtaposition is a little too "clever"... it kind of turns this photo into a gimmick. (Not sure if that makes sense at all.) I'd almost rather see each photo separately. I bet the guy just standing there with no shirt on would be fantastic.

Not trying to be overly nit-picky or anything. It really is a great photo... just figured I'd share some of my thoughts. ;)

I beginning to see that the more successful ones are those that take a different approach than the obvious. Someone had a series of pictures like this once and I liked them very much. This works well for a self-portrait, so I scored it high for impact and technique.

Terrific! Really well done. The cross gender balance is great, as is the whole concept and execution. I gotta ask: who is this a portrait of? The person holding the photo, or the person in the photo?
