Outstanding shot. If the tongue had been in sharp focus it would have been perfect. But fantastic detail.

I'd like to say that a greater depth of field would have helped, so that the tongue was also in focus. But I'm sure you didn't have a lot of time to set up the shot. :)

I specially like the sharp eye and texture around it, and the unsharp (motion blured) tongue!

Thanks for the votes and comments y'all! I would have liked the tongue in focus too. It was DOF & not motion blur though. (18-55mm | f/5.6 | 1/800 | ISO 100) I did have time but it was very hard getting the tongue before it went back in and that was the best one I had before he left. He was getting nervous with me being so close.
