The reflection of the light on the 'roofs' really lifts this shot - very nice.

great first impression of this shot. the spotlight on the tower looks unnatural though.

I wish the tower in the back was a little more off center. The way it's sitting I feel like the white things in the foreground are just in it's way.

Wonderful textures, tones, and composition. I think it's fantastic. I also love how the monument tells you exactly where this is, even though the tents in the foreground are totally confusing and out of place! (In fact, the monument almost seems to be coming out between them.)

I also love the grainy sky. Nice touch!

I want so much to like this image! I don't get it (nothing new, there), but that's probably just my ignorance and cultural illiteracy shining through. What I do like are the constrasty tones and the shapes and the contrasts between the pyramidal tent shapes and the silhouetted obelisk. I'd be interested in reading what you were working on here.

this is a superb image, the grain works quite well for this shot.
