Many photos in this them feature the ocean or waters of one sort or another. There seems to be some commonality in thought that being near large bodies of water evokes a sense of aloneness. I don't argue that.

I love the beautiful richness of the tones in the fine image.

the colours in this are great - gives it a warm feeling in spite of it looking cold.

funny thing....it is the incredible "colors" and the centering of the subject that make this photo spectacular for me as a viewer.

That's a whole lot of seaweed there on the beach. I can't stop looking at it unfortunately. I like the subject matter otherwise. She looks like the wife of a fisherman, looking in vain for signs of his boat. What a great alone theme.
