To me, this convey's "motion" more than "weight". I guess weight is inherent to this type of human activity, but outside the context of this theme, I don't think it would be one of the things that first comes to mind when I view this shot.

gorin: The expression on his face and tensed muscles were because he was holding onto all of her weight. There wasn't much action with their performance because it was all very slow and flowing, which was my reason for posting it. But without that background information I see your point - thanks :)

Ahh, that makes sense. Interesting that you so effctively conveyed "motion" in whay is essentially a static subject! Photography is great that way huh?
I saw this and assumed they were dancers, or doing some sort of martial arts where he is "flipping" her. I never stopped to consider that he would just be suspending her motionless in one place.

No worries! Probably my bad for not photographing it well enough to show the stopped motion ;)
They had incredibly large muscles, and did a rather impressive act. She had him stood on her shoulders at one point!

A great photo, but It doesn't seem especially relevant to the topic...

I guess the relevance of the photo to the subject has come into question by everyone here, which is a shame. If I could have somehow conveyed in the image, that she was suspended by him rather than it looking like there was lots of motion involved in the shot, then it may have been more successful.

looks painful, but I like the colours and the action.

I like the way the action was captured and the work on the colors.

why does she look so happy about the fact that he is mad and trying to break her in half?
