would have been moreinteresting for me if all the wax had melted and there was just the paper left.

One of the interesting things about being in Weekly Shot is getting to be able to recognize characteristics of particular photographer's work. I suspect this image is by the same person who took the images of the little toy dogs in party hats and had a scary toy clown image.

The image is quite beautiful and does definetly say HEAT to me. I remember always being facinated by melting crayons. The colors are beautiful, the "greasy" look of the paper as it absorbs some of the wax is attractive in the photo. Overall, very, very good!

I like the concept here. What a great way to do areallycolorful shot and imply "heat" at the same time. I just wish there wasa little more in sharp focus. Not the whole thing, I realize selective focus is employed here for creative effect, it just seems like the parts that are supposed to be in sharp focus aren;t sharp enough IMHO.
