everything is great here exept the blown highlights. in a pic so well thousht out and creatively composed, it feels like blown hghlights should not be happening.
it's a really great and effective off-kilter comp.

Thanks folks! I just got back from a photo job and find I've been lucky eough to be featured.
Matto: I know what you mean about the highlights, I like the background being a bit blown, but would have preferred the wheel to be a bit better.
George: I think it's because the reflection in the door only changed a little over the angle of movement, whereas the background moved loads.
Ocean: I set this up with a suction mount on the car door, then just rolled the car forward slowly. It may look like it's moving fast, but the exposure time was 1.2 sec; so it's easy to get a lot of blur.
