Interesting. The form of the bird and the moment before impact is somewhat compelling. But the bit of boat on the left is distracting, and the bird as the main subject seems too small in the frame. As to relevance, this doesn't say much to me. What is decisive about this, other than you, the photographer, had to be decisive about when to click the shutter? There's not much that speaks to humanity, which, as I see it, Bresson was after.
You could comment on this photo if you were logged in.
My only problem with it is that the horizon is not straight otherwise a great shot.
