Terrific exposure - you really need to see the full shot for the effect. Well done.

Great shot!

Great shot, I like the combination of ideas here, the motion of the earth and a bridge of some sort, again suggesting... motion.

Nice one.

Wow, thanks for the ratings and especially the comments folks :)

I'm not surprised that my lowest rating was for quality, in the version I resized there are no jaggy lines in the stars... Good job you're changing the upload rules Brandon!

lbstone said 961 days ago:

Yeah... all images from here on out will look exactly the way you upload them. The server won't make any changes at all. (This type of quality issue is the main reason I made that change to the system.)

Wow, this would be a great shot for a "time" theme too. Very elegant.

smudo said 947 days ago:

ah, startrails. gotta love it!;) how long was the exposure on this one?

lbstone said 947 days ago:

Hey, Smudo's here! Hi Fredrik. ;)

Daaave said 947 days ago:

The shot was a double exposure of 543 seconds each, or about 18 minutes in total to you and me ;)

smudo said 947 days ago:

hi brandon!;)

daaave; that's a loooong time. so i guess it was almost pitch black to the naked eye while you stood there?

Daaave said 937 days ago:

There was a full moon so it wasn't pitch black, for instance I had a shadow of me and the camera on the ground beside me. But there was certainly no colour in the skylike this!
