I think I've seen this already, but it's still as good, and perfectly relevant for this theme.

Thanks...and yes, you have seen it before, but I haven't seen any ratings for it yet! It was one of my shots that ended the week with less than 13 ratings, so I am trying again.

I recognize this from a previous theme. Not sure who's it is but I do like it.

I'm guessing the extreme contrast is suppose to be between the two guys here. I'm guessing because it's not obvious. The composition needs some work, their faces are across the middle and they are chopped off at the chins. Too much empty space at the top adding nothing to the image. Perhaps a lower angle would have been nice. The image is a bit flat as well, nothing stands out. The Depth of Field seems OK though. :-)

Yikes, looks like I'm the odd man out. Guess I won't be very popular now. I went back and looked at it again, read all the reviews from this thread and your last....and I still feel the same way. I'm sorry.

These 2 guys probably couldn't be much more different. So, very strong relevance, but not a lot of impact/interest. The shot's composition feels like a hurried snapshot. The fence at the top is distracting and just tangent with the top of frame, as is the one man's head with the edge of the tree.

I keep coming back and looking at this one. I'm suprised that it hasn't featured.

Thanks for the comments all, good and bad. They are helpful. It was a bit of a hurried shot, as I was fairly close, and don't like getting in people's face shooting.
@TammyLynn - what do you mean that their faces are "chopped off at the chins"? I didn't quite understand that.
TammyLynn said 193 days ago:
I'm like that too CraigMartin, you done better than I would have, as I'd have seen the shot but not taken it. I worry about upsetting people by taking their photos.
Sorry about the "chins", that was a typo, should have been shins.

I remember this one! Great idea for the theme!
