Probably too much burn in this image. Otherwise, looks a complete set of few meal.

Beamer said 201 days ago:

The image is so clear and sharp, except the object on the fork?? Can't tell what it is, food I'm sure, but looks strange. Great tonal range.

winetou said 201 days ago:

why you need 2 forks to eat that small things?

Ana said 201 days ago:

I wonder why you composed this with the bottom of the plate off the frame, and left so much room at the top. maybe a lower perspective all together?

flipthom said 201 days ago:

Almost a clean plate!

flipthom said 201 days ago:

And yes, I agree. Cutting the bottom of the plate off is a bit bothersome. On the other hand, the detail is very nicely captured.

@studia: no burning, here.
@Beamer: that is a forkful of polenta and sausage tort
@winetou: in case the first fork bursts into flames
@Ana: wonder no more...one school of thought with circular images is to cut into one edge to stop the eye from endlessly circling the image. negative space on top to add to the tilted perspective.
@flipthom: may I now have dessert?

Ana said 200 days ago:

yes, I don't mind the cut edge, but the higher angle makes me travel right to the empty space, instead of the fork?

eggplant said 200 days ago:

@Ana: sure, I can see that...good point. And speaking of forks, and points, sorry that the end of WS has you down, but I think it is time to stick a fork in it; it's done. But I did enjoy your slide show. Time to move on to the next thing.

I like the tones in this shot. Could be a little wider, to give the knife and fork some space
