This is great!! Very relevant, very interesting/impactful. I do look at it and smile, but I also wonder what it would look like without the big bar shaped shadow...

This is a strange choice for the theme. Cant knock it for light or shadow, but Id be interested to read how this encompasses architecture? Or is it that this is inside (a building) therefore architecture is implied?

This is a beautiful photograph.

lovely photo, lacking on relevance though im afraid.. the black shadow against the wall is a bit too subtle

Are you familiar with Robert Mapplethorpes floral work? If not,you should check out his lighting (inclduing window light) and shadows ....he's one of the master photographers. Although he's famous for his art exhibit "The Perfect Moment" his lighting is amazing.

Thanks for the comments.

this would grace any wall really big!

This is lovely. Really nice mood. Vernon?

Montage said 267 days ago:

Or not. Take that as a compliment, Tedi17.

Though a gorgeous photo, I don't see the relevance for the theme.

You know, I really like this a lot. I bet you're going to get a lot of beef about it not being in-your-face architectural, but the shadow from the window is clearly visible. I love the way the branch follows the shadow down. It's a lovely gentle image and I'm going to give it high marks... it's a *little* soft though...

Flatline said 265 days ago:

My eyes are freakin' on me... I stand by my vote, but it's either soft or over-sharpened. Either way, I bet this is a LOT better as a print than as a tiny JPG on a web site.

Great image, well done.
