I suspect we'll probably be seeing this on the homepage sooner or later. Nicely done.

this tells me there WAS movement. but I don't see it.
all the same...great shot.

Unusual that almost all the light streaks are the same color and VERY parallel. Most times these sort of images are more chaotic, but you know the British, very ordered...

This is quite nice.

The only thing that troubles me with this photo is the angle of the clock tower. Otherwise, it's a fine image.

Great shot but the background would have need a perfect composition, including a vertical Big Ben. Still, what amazing sharpness on such a night shot. Which parameteres were you using, if you don't mind sharing?

CraigMartin said 267 days ago:

Doesn't really say movement to me, as the focus is all on the buildings, but what a great shot nonetheless.

Fabulous! I was just in the UK and got this exact same shot with a double-decker red bus shot straight through and the same "angled" Big Ben. That's just the view you get balancing your camera on the bridge. Heck, to get the Parliament in focus at night with this movement--well, in my book YOU DONE GOOD!

Excellent job! Congrats on making it to the homepage.
