King...I'm really curious about this...what is it?
King said 300 days ago:
flipthom...This is an extremely thin sheet of titanium (or some such)that I found attached to a silk screen frame in a scrap metals yard. It's about 16" x 20" I think it was used to screen the etched design onto something for some electronic purpose or another. I really don't know. This is shot in sunlight. The blue is a reflection of the sky.
My intention, when I get around to it, is to frame it and hang it on my wall.

@flipthom...and thanks for the comment!

This is very cool. Seems abstract to me with tons of colors.
flipthom said 300 days ago:
If this were my photo, my intention would be to hang it on my wall too. : )

King, I thought this was a doily sitting in battery acid. (Shows what I know.) I really like the colors and shapes.

Holy shit, King, this one should be The Thumbnail of this theme... It's perfect.
Your envious friend.
PS: the overall score is outrageus. Outrageously low I mean.
King said 299 days ago:
@Jeff...thanks, bro.
@bio...Thanks for the high compliments.
The ratings were higher than I expected. I reveal ratings from time to time because they fascinate me--like watching a train wreck. Other folks post their ratings from time to time, and I enjoy seeing the hidden side of W.S.
Now if we could see something beside the averages.
Cheers, my friend.

King,what is the word for the series of your last four comments?
Cool 'puzzle' to see and follow.
Good to see you up and around.
Hope all is well,for you,your honey,and your troublesome eye!

mysight...Funny that of all people i should be you to notice. I was thinking of you when I posted the doggerel.
W.S. had been so quiet, it was like being the only human in the middle of the Mojave desert.
I was inspired by the Burma Shave verses that were posted along route 66, specially in the desert. As I child, riding in the car with my parents around 1950, the consecutive signs and lines were captivating...the few artifacts along the long, lonesome and empty highway. Here are a couple:
Within this vale / of toil and sin / your head grows bald / but not your chin / Burma-Shave
If you don't know / whose signs these are / You haven't driven / very far (No final "Burma-Shave" sign).
Thanks for showing signs of life! :>)

Really lovely shot King. I just stopped in to take a quick peek of what is going on but don't have time to post right now, maybe tonight. But I am glad to see that you are keeping things somewhat lively. :-)
King said 297 days ago:
@Tracy & Vernon...thank you, my friends!
@Tracy..."...somwehat lively"? You mean like the guy who practices his stand-up comedy routine during the night shift at the morgue?
bioLarzen said 297 days ago:
King,
the Burma shave ads are simply great. I have them all in a book here on my shelf somewhere. I love them.
And I'm indebted to my alltime foabourite American author, Bill Bryson - if it's not for him I still wouldn't know even the brand... :)
