Its a great image, but the faux dof is a bit clumsy. I like the lines in the cobbles

agi said 289 days ago:

I like this a lot but that image blur seems so unnatural that I think it takes away from the photograph.

apologies for the crummy and abrupt blur....really didnt pay that much attention to it while i was doing it...hopefully it doesn detract too much from the picture?

A great shot and a nice story could come from this, but the blurred background is throwing this off. It seems processed in and cuts the shot in half.

Looks like someone had fun with the blur tool.

Very cute! I like the colors.

all alone.. nice photo.. poor kid ;)

This is a nice shot of the child. Instead of selective blurring the top of the image just crop it off.

Good shot! I like how this person is separated from the group by several things (his/her position, the line in the bricks, his/her size). Good job.

I'm really curious to know the storry about this one - suggests/seems like he is stuck in *one* space !!

JimiThing said 288 days ago:

good idea but not so good at the execution. The DOF is obviously faked in this one.

Ana said 288 days ago:

seeing the line of blur doesn't help this shot, but the little one is cute.

mtmartini said 284 days ago:

very cute image and lovely composition but the way you manually altered the DoF is far too obvious and very distracting.
