Very nice, this seems to be a popular type of compo. And I agree, it makes a very nice contrast between the textures. I really love the scratch marks of the hook! One comment: the bolts? at the bottom and left edge of frame could use just a tad more breathing room, and the knot in the wood on the left would not get cut in half... Very high marks tho...

horizontal / vertical / opposite. thats what the title of this should be. i love the bolts and wood creating lines against each other.

@Beamer: You are right about the missing space around the bolts. Unfortunately I had to crop the image that close -- to get rid of some irrelevant element outside the current frame.
