I really like this photograph....aesthetically, it's beautiful. I just wish it said "half" a bit more.

this seems like a 'forced half.' I'm not sure I'd go out on a beautiful scene like this and only take a photo of 'half' of the dock? So while you've made this relevant by seemingly chopping a photo in half, it feels very unnatural for the content.

yes..now that I see the original, I can see why you chose this shot for a chopping...but the result is full of tension, I think.

I like the color hues. It does draw the eye to the sky line. That is the most interesting part of the composition.
